We are committed to developing our employees by growing their skills, knowledge, and experience, which allows them to excel in their current positions and pursue their career goals. We depend on talented individuals and strong leaders to deliver excellent results, so we invest in the future success of our business and our people.
Graduate
programme
Our Graduate Programme is designed to build a pipeline of talented individuals with leadership potential to meet the future capability needs of Alliance Group.
By actively engaging across our diverse business operations, our graduates can develop robust networks, gain invaluable insights into various functions and opportunities, and acquire a comprehensive understanding of our industry and markets. This multi-faceted programme empowers our graduates to make informed choices about their career paths within the co-operative.

Bursary
Each year, Alliance offers two bursary scholarships – the Employees Family Members Bursary, and the Shareholder Undergraduate Bursary.
Each bursary is valued at $1,500 per annum for a maximum of three years. The Employees Family Members Bursary is open to candidates who have a parent or guardian working at Alliance Group, and who are planning to study in areas relating to the meat industry, its associated industries and/or primary production. The Shareholder Bursary is open to the children of Alliance Group shareholders.

Leadership
Development
Here, at Alliance Group, people are the heart of our business, so we believe it’s important we’re all talking the same talk, so we can walk together.
Our Alliance Values determine “how we do things around here” and therefore, the behaviours that are most important to us. It is through these behaviours that we bring the values to life, and truly live and lead them.
Our leadership development framework is centred around our values and focuses on teaching all leaders how to live and lead them everyday. Because, culture, or “the way we do things around here”, is built through the small things we do everyday (rather than the big things we do every so often).
Personal and
Professional
Development
Alliance is a huge business which means the opportunities for you to grow and develop here are endless.
Once you have settled into your role and into Alliance, your manager will have a development conversation with you to identify your specific development needs and wants for the year ahead. You’ll also have an opportunity to participate in various courses and programmes in your time here.
It’s important to note that development is important for many reasons! Aside from ensuring that you have the health & safety, compliance, and technical training and qualifications needed to be successful in your role, we develop our people so that you can be the best ‘you’ possible, so that you can be a better team-mate, so that you can perform more effectively in your role, and so that you can build new skills, knowledge and experiences for the future.
We want to support you with achieving your career aspirations, whatever those might be.
